Campaign scheduling

Schedule send dialog — date, Hour, Minute, confirmation, and how scheduled columns are named.

Use Schedule send when you want MailG to start later. Available on free and paid plans.

How to schedule

  1. Configure template and recipients so the send button is enabled.
  2. Open the send menu (chevron) → Schedule send.
  3. Dialog title: Schedule send
  4. Description: Pick date & time to schedule sending
  5. Summary line: scheduling N emails to be sent starting at the chosen date/time
  6. Use the date picker plus Hour / Minute (placeholders Hour, Min).
  7. Confirm with Schedule Send (or Cancel).

Default suggestion is about 60 minutes ahead, snapped to the next 15-minute step.

Immediate vs scheduled

Times less than about 15 seconds ahead are treated as an immediate send (🚀 column header), not a deferred 🗓️ schedule. Pick a time further in the future if you need deferred sending.

Validation toasts: Please select a date and time, Invalid date and time, Pick a date and time in the future.

Success toast: campaign scheduled; N emails will start at the chosen time.

Sheet column

Scheduled campaigns create a column header like:

🗓️ Template name (yyyy/MM/dd)

Immediate sends use 🚀 instead of 🗓️.

Rows start as 🗓️ Scheduled, then move to ⏳ Sending… when the queue runs.

After you schedule

  • Keep the spreadsheet accessible to the Google account that owns the add-on
  • Tracking and pacing still apply once sending starts
  • No Manage Schedule UI — see Stopping a campaign
