Customized sender
Set a display sender name and a Reply to address for your campaign.
By default, Gmail sends from the Google account that authorized MailG. You can still customize how your name appears and where replies go.
Sender name
- Open More options in the campaign sidebar.
- Set Sender name (placeholder
John Doe (Optional)). - Recipients see that display name in their inbox (subject to Gmail’s usual presentation rules).
Reply to address
Set Reply to address (placeholder [email protected] (Optional)) if replies should go somewhere other than the sending account.
Notes
- The underlying From address remains the authorized Gmail account — you cannot spoof another mailbox
- Invalid reply-to addresses can cause delivery or reply issues — use a mailbox you control
- Preview shows From: as your signed-in email; confirm reply-to with Send me a test email
