Start dialog tour
Map of the MailG for Gmail dialog — root composer, templates, settings, empty sheet, and errors.
Open the add-on with Extensions → MailG for Gmail → 🚀 Start. A 900×600 dialog titled MailG for Gmail opens.
Screens

Root layout
Three zones:
- Sidebar (left) — template, recipient column, More options, tracking, branding, quota
- Preview (right) — From / To / Subject / body, row navigation, Edit template
- Footer — send button, send menu, Upgrade to Pro (free), settings, help

Need help? checklist
- Pick a template and recipient column
- Preview each row with the arrows
- Send a test email to yourself first
- Click Send to merge from your sheet

Empty sheet
If MailG finds no valid email column:
- Title: No email address found in your sheet
- Actions: Close | Fill with mock data
Mock data seeds headers Email, First Name, Last Name, Company and may create My First Template.
